First, know that this used to be a happening hospital and instead of leaving a large building abandoned, space is leased out (if that is the best way to describe it). Someone there described the building as a medical mall. As far as the RHI staff - every person I interacted with was professional, courteous, and answered questions. I actually did not have to ask many questions because they were ahead of them by explaining things each step of the way. I went a couple days before for pre-op tests and they were very kind, took their time with me, and again, were not in a rush and explained everything. On the big day, the care was absolutely wonderful. This isn’t a place where there are tons of people running about like a busy hospital, those who are there are pretty much there for you or designated to someone or daily business. On surgery day, my nurse was tremendous. She spent time explaining everything and that I was her focus at that time. The anesthesiologist explained each drug he was providing and the purpose of it. After the procedure, the staff continued personal care and attention until I went home. Five stars for my experience here.

What an astounding experience. Carrie , Harmony (aka Holly...LOL), Bob, Zach, the Nurse who came and got me from the waiting and the other Nurses & Techs there were very professional yet comforting in a genuine manner. It was my first surgery and only felt as if I was at some sort of resort. My Nurse Carrie, RN took very good care of me before & after and made this experience much less frightening than I thought it might have been. Riverview Health Institute should be proud of these professionals and I will for sure, recommend this facility to anyone I know who is going to have surgery and hopefully they too will experience what true healthcare should be!!
