RS Pusri Palembang was initially established in 1963 as a health clinic for employees and foreign workers involved in the development of Pusri. It expanded into a full-fledged hospital in 1973. In 2001, it underwent a spin-off and became managed by Yayasan Pusri Medika, later changing to PT Graha Pusri Medika in 2006.
