About Us :

Our hospital is the largest institution in the county, and its fundamental task is to provide the patients of Salgótarján and its surrounding area, as well as Nógrád County, with the highest level of healthcare in line with the standards of the time.

The available modern diagnostic devices, technical tools and the professional knowledge and experience of the staff ensure that patients receive the appropriate therapy after a quick and accurate diagnosis. During the recovery period, our dieticians help our patients adhere to their individual diet, and they are also provided with lifestyle and nutritional advice appropriate to their condition for the period after discharge. All our patients receive modern, individual tray service that keeps food warm.

The total number of employees of the institution is approaching a thousand. In addition to the doctors and nurses, several other highly qualified specialists also participate in the healing work. Each of our wards has a bathroom. Patients can receive their visitors every day - during the period specified in the House Rules. We pay great attention to the cleanliness of our wards, corridors, and healing rooms. With our internal park, the diversity of our flowers, and the care of our plants, we try to provide our patients with the warmth of a small home, thereby increasing their sense of comfort. The spiritual care of the patients is ensured by regular contact with the churches. The ecumenical chapel is open during the day, and the order of Divine Services is specified.
