Guided by strong ethical values and social commitment, Saroja was founded by Dr. K. N. Pisharoty MD; MRCP; DTM, Dean at Stanley Medical College, Professor of Medicine at Madras Medical College and the first Principal of Calicut Medical College, in 1967. The hospital was later taken over by Dr. K. Sarojini and Dr. S. K. Pisharoty, two eminent doctors of Trichur. A humble start as a mother and child care centre at the heart of the city, it gradually gained greater momentum rendering care and trust and now has grown into a Multi-Speciality Hospital where state-of-the-art technology and an eminent pool of medical professionals merge.
