Established in 1992, Seyed al-Shohada Heart Hospital is a leading public center for cardiovascular care in northwest Iran. After years of construction delays, it was officially inaugurated in October 2009. The hospital operates under the license and supervision of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and is affiliated with Urmia University of Medical Sciences. It is recognized as one of the most advanced and well-equipped specialized cardiac centers in the region, providing high-quality medical services, advanced research, and training for future healthcare professionals in cardiology.
