Shafa Hospital, also known as Al-Shifa Hospital, is the largest medical complex in Gaza. It was the target of a siege and raid by Israeli forces in November 2023 during the Gaza war, with Israel claiming it was being used by Hamas. The hospital was significantly damaged during the conflict, including the destruction of medical supplies and facilities. Despite the damage, the emergency wing of the hospital has since reopened.
