Founded in 1977, the Stomatological Hospital of Shandong University, originally the Department of Stomatology of Shandong Medical University, has evolved into a leading institution in dental education, research, and clinical services. In 1992, the affiliated hospital was established, and in 2000, it was renamed Stomatological Hospital of Shandong University. By 2006, it was officially designated as Shandong Provincial Stomatological Hospital.
