Sharp Hospital Mazatlán was built in 1994 and has since become synonymous with excellence in medical care in Mazatlán for residents of the northwest Mexico area and for our American and Canadian visitors as well.
Strategically located in the geographic center of the City and Port of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, it is highly accessible, just 5 minutes from the hotel zone and 15 and 25 minutes by car from the pier and airport, respectively.
The integration and operation of the SHARP hospital system has as its fundamental purpose patient satisfaction, so the actions of physicians, staff, and providers must be directed toward ensuring the greatest possible benefits for patient health, exposing them to the least risks and ensuring optimal use of available resources to avoid waste and reduce costs.
Hospital activity is guided by ethical and legal principles and a focus on evidence-based medicine, always respecting national and international human rights recommendations, as well as the laws and regulations issued by the Ministry of Health.
Implementing a quality system allows you to build trust among the population you serve and be recognized as a reliable hospital that provides services efficiently, effectively, and humanely.
With a total area of nearly 12,500 square meters (135,000 square feet), Sharp Hospital is the only private medical institution certified by the General Health Council in Mazatlán and the southern part of the state, meeting international quality standards.
The building has four levels, the first measuring 4,558.50 m2, the second, third and fourth levels are 2,176.30 m2. Currently, Sharp Mazatlán Hospital has a capacity of 44 census beds and 48 non-census beds, but has the capacity (and plans) to expand its number of beds in the near future.
