1. After a whole week in hospital, I would like to give some compliments and suggestions. The staff in general is very friendly. The hospital is clean and hygienic.The food is good and they cater for all. Some staff members are passionate, where you always get those that it is just a job. I think productivity and attention to patients can be improved by introducing an electronic system. The staff spend majority of time on paper work. Would love to see more attention to patients that are unable to help themselves. I must compliment theatre staff as everyone was friendly, procedure was explained and they put you at eaze. Really fantastic care!

2. Having been to many private hospitals in the last 6 months, visiting older members of the family, I have to admit Shelly Beach hospital is undoubtedly the best. A family member was admitted in Shelly beach hospital because it was said it was the best local hospital when she was in the region.In terms of their medical facilities, they are top notch. Absolutely clean and classy, reminds me of a hotel. Their coffee shop is worth visiting even if you have nobody ill to visit. Clearly their staff undergo rigorous training because everyone greets you warmly. Their security stands up outside to greet you, porters, receptionist and cleaners all greet aloud including every medical staff there. Their medical treatment is exceptional. The nurses in Cardiac Hi care never gave up on our family member who was on the verge of death. The were most compassionate and understanding. Always maintaining her dignity, kept her clean and made sure she ate. Treated her with love and compassion. Angels posing as nurses, something we don't see any more!! Shelly beach hospital, please maintain your standards. Continue living up to your motto. I hope you grow from strength to strength.
