Our hospital joined Min-Iren in 1970, and has been operating and carrying out activities that benefit the public, aiming to be a "trusted hospital that anyone can visit safely and with peace of mind, anytime," with the hospital philosophy of "practicing safe, secure, and fair medical care."
　Min-Iren (All Japan Democratic Medical Association) is an organization that aims to "realize non-discriminatory and equal medical care and welfare," and is working to improve social security and provide good medical care that anyone can receive with peace of mind, anytime, anywhere. Our hospital is also working on such initiatives, and is carrying out a wide range of activities to protect the health of the community, especially in elderly medical care. One of these is the visiting nurse volunteer program that began in 1978, and in 1992 we opened a visiting nurse station (the first to be approved in Yamagata Prefecture), and have been working hard to build elderly medical care. In March 2010, we opened a rehabilitation ward on the fourth floor of our hospital, where we have over 60 therapists, including dental hygienists, and three specialists.
