About Us :

Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences & Hospital is situated in the scenic locale of Hazaribagh city. The college was established in the year 2007 and is affiliated to the Vinoba Bhave University. It is the foremost dental college in Jharkhand to be recognized by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The college is run and managed by SHRINIVAS GROUP. Situated off NH 33, it is well linked to the nearby town of Koderma, Ranchi, Gaya etc. with excellent road, train & air connectivity. The college is presently imparting courses in BDS with an intake of 100 students MDS (Masters in dental surgery) in various specialties. The institution has a par excellence trained faculty base that constantly endeavours to groom a student into a skillful, mature and responsible dental professional. Our institution believes in moulding a student to be a “DOCTOR DENTIST “. The college has a beyond par infrastructure with avant-garde classroom with LCD projector & a state of art audio acoustics for distinct hearing till the last benches. It has an extensive library with print & online resources, archives of various National & International journals of acclaim with a separate reading room for students for self-study. This is the first dental college that boasts of state of the art diagnostics & treatment rendering machines. One such, the CONE BEAM COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY is the first such machine in the states of Jharkhand & Bihar and has revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment planning of dental patients. The college has a vast inflow of patients; they come from all the surrounding areas of Hazaribagh for the best treatment options. This extensive patient base helps in creating a clinical tool for the students and the interns for practical on patient training. Along with all this, the college has an ultra-modern gymnasium, Volley Ball court, Badminton court, indoor games like table tennis, carrom, to name a few.
