About Us :

Dr. Syed Adibul Hasan Rizvi, a renowned Pakistani surgeon and philanthropist, is the founder of the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). His vision for SIUT was to provide state-of-the-art medical care to all, regardless of their ability to pay.

Dr. Rizvi has always been deeply committed to improving healthcare in Pakistan. He recognized that the country’s healthcare system was broken, and that the poor and vulnerable were suffering the most. With this in mind, he founded SIUT in 1970 with a mission to provide quality healthcare to all, regardless of their social or economic status.

Over the years, Dr. Rizvi’s vision for SIUT has grown and evolved. Today, SIUT is not only a leading healthcare institution in Pakistan, but also a model for healthcare systems around the world. The institute provides a range of services, including urology, nephrology, and transplant surgery, and has a strong focus on research and education.

Despite its success, SIUT remains true to Dr. Rizvi’s original vision of providing free care to those who need it most. The institute treats over half a million patients each year, the majority of whom are from underprivileged backgrounds. It has become a lifeline for many who would otherwise not have access to quality healthcare.

Dr. Rizvi’s vision for SIUT has transformed the healthcare landscape in Pakistan, and his legacy continues to inspire those who work at the institute today.
