Smyth County Community Hospital, located in Marion, Virginia, is a 44-bed acute care hospital with a 109-bed skilled nursing facility. Established over 60 years ago, it is a nonprofit institution dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare, including emergency, surgical, rehabilitation, and long-term care services. All the personnel were friendly and helpful. The XRay tech was courteous and knowledgeable. Only draw back was the time wait,which good have been done better with a phone call to explain working on the scan machine and would be a wait time but didn’t do so. Cleanliness noted.

The whole team at the infusion/ cancer center is fantastic. Dr. Welt is practical and incredibly knowledgeable without being condescending. I appreciate his dry humor and no-nonsense approach, as well as his willingness to listen to me and include me in customizing my care plan. Andrea and Helen have been considerate and patient with me every time I have been in for care/ treatment. They are warm, friendly and professional and have worked with my Dr and me to customize and implement treatment strategies and my care plan.
