Spandan embarked on its journey with a vision led by four individuals with a positive mindset on the 21st of May, 1995. Mr. Pijus Kanti Pal assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director, while Mr. Parthasarathi Mandal, Mr. Monaj Pati, and Mr. Alok Kr. Ghosh became Directors. Our initial steps began in a modest 800 sq. ft rented space at Rabindranagar, in the Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal, where we offered services like portable Sonography, Analogue X-Ray, Routine Pathology, and ECG.

This initial phase marked the foundation of our journey, a prelude to the subsequent progress that saw us expanding our services each year. In the year 2000, our brand proudly introduced its very own CT scan unit, making it the first in a district town of West Bengal. The year 2002 marked a significant shift as Spandan embraced the path of PPP (Private Public Partnership) with Bankura Sammilani Medical College & Hospital.

Our journey has been punctuated by numerous milestones, and Spandan has been on the forefront, providing healthcare services as both a private (fully owned) enterprise and in collaboration with different State Governments.
