1. I have previously poor care at St Mary’s. I was beyond happy with their care and treatment this time. The NP that looked after me through my pneumonia was amazing. I was grateful to the nurses and care I received overall!
2. After not being treated at the hospital in Exeter, ON, I was pleasantly surprised in St. Marys. We had to visit twice due to the nature of my daughter's illness, but the first time we got into a room quickly, within 10 minutes. The nurse was sweet with my daughter, gave her tylenol immediately, and monitored her. It took us awhile to see the doctor, but he was kind and patient with my 3 year old. We were told to return if her symptoms (body aches, fever, lack of appetite) worsened or changed. 2 days later we were forced to visit again. We waited considerably longer to get in, but were treated promptly when we were admitted. My daughter had more symptoms, and the doctor recognized this immediately. We were sent to Sick Kids in an ambulance under suspicion of appendicitis or meningitis, and after they diagnosed her with pneumonia I received a call from the doctor in St. Marys to apologize to me for not catching it (Dr. Berda?). I thanked her for sending us to Sick Kids, she was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend.
