Osaka Sumitomo Hospital was opened in July 1921 as part of the Sumitomo Group's social contribution activities with the aim of providing high-quality medical care to local residents. More than 90 years have passed since then, and in September 2000, a new hospital was constructed and reborn as the "New Sumitomo Hospital," a hospital suitable for the 21st century. Since then, we have expanded our staff and equipment, and continued to improve the various systems within our hospital so that we can always provide advanced, high-quality medical care.
