About Us

Since our beginnings in 1910, Swedish has been the region's standard-bearer for the highest-quality health care at the best value.

Swedish is the largest nonprofit health care provider in the greater Seattle area with five hospital campuses: First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, Edmonds and Issaquah. We also have ambulatory care centers in Redmond and Mill Creek, and a network of more than 100 primary care and specialty clinics throughout the greater Puget Sound area.

Swedish’s innovative care has made it a regional referral center for leading-edge procedures such as robotic-assisted surgery and personalized treatment in cardiovascular care, cancer care, neuroscience, orthopedics, high-risk obstetrics, pediatric specialties, organ transplantation and clinical research.

Swedish is affiliated with Providence St. Joseph Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit organization founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1856. With more than 76,000 employees, Providence operates 34 hospitals and 475 physician clinics across five states. Based in Renton, Washington, Providence also provides strategic and management services to integrated health-care systems in Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

Thorough friendly care with referals yhat will rinally fix my broken neck so i can use my novicane numb hand again and escape the torture in my scapula ,elbow ,arm & neck & fingers.Swedish also around 15 years ago diagnosed i had no bone connecting my neck from a failed fusion ,So thank you edmonds and 128th Everett Swedish Hospital!

Usually it doesn't take long to be seen. I was in and out in 30 min., and that's including the wait time, which was only a few minutes. Of course it helps that I was being seen for something minor, and there was nobody else in the waiting area. For sure there are times I've been there when it was really busy, and the wait was hours, but this last time was extremely quick, and I can recall a couple times in the last couple years when it was really fast and convenient to be seen there for urgent care needs.
