In January 2007, Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital officially opened, and the new campus was completed and put into use in August 2011. The love of clear water returned to Tanzi, and a fortress for saving lives stood at the foot of green mountains and in the green fields.
The seeds of Tzu Chi’s medical mission began with the establishment of the Tzu Chi Free Clinic in 1972, which was gradually expanded from Hualien, Yuli, Guanshan, Dalin, Xindian in Taipei to Tanzi in eastern Taiwan, where hospitals were gradually established.

A Buddhist hospital that is pretty new (a few years. The building and facilities itself are clean and spacious. They even have a bus system that allows patients to get to the hospital from smaller further out town areas. Views from the patient rooms are nice too

Beautiful hospital, feels like an airport or museum, big and spacious. Otherwise works the same way as other hospitals with time saving features. Plenty of parkings around the hospital, you can also make appointments using their mobile app or website. Very nice!

Parking is convenient, but it takes a while to get to the hospital. Fortunately, we have friendly volunteers to guide us so we don’t get lost.
