Taipei Medical University Hospital was founded in 1976 as the first affiliated hospital of Taipei Medical University. It laid the foundation for the two-way exchange of clinical services and teaching and research in the Taipei Medical University system. In order to provide high-quality medical services, Taipei Medical University Hospital continues to improve medical quality and strengthen hardware and software equipment. Since 2018, it has successively completed the renovation of three medical buildings, introduced smart medical care, and transformed its appearance. At present, the number of beds in the hospital has increased to nearly 800, and the number of colleagues has exceeded 2,000, which has become a benchmark for medium-sized hospitals at home and abroad.  

Located adjacent to the campus of Peking University Health Science Center, the hospital is integrated into one. As a university hospital, "service, teaching, and research" are its unchanging core mission and development focus. With holistic healthcare, holistic education, and holistic development as its main axis, it builds comprehensive medical services, deepens the cultivation of talents in various professions, improves basic and clinical research, and deepens the atmosphere of R&D and innovation.
