Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital, inaugurated on May 8, 2005, is the 11th hospital under the Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation. Located in New Taipei City, it is Taiwan’s first quakeproof hospital, designed to last a thousand years. The hospital embodies Tzu Chi’s mission of humanistic medicine, compassion, and harmony, integrating advanced medical technology with a patient-centered, spiritual approach. It serves as a center for high-quality medical care and participates actively in both domestic and international medical and relief missions

Peaceful Place for a Hospital! I’ve been to 5 different hospitals in Taiwan over the years and Taipei Tzu Chi had a calming peaceful vibe the minute I walked in the front door. They bring the Buddhism into the hospital atmosphere. This is quite uplifting for the sick people seeking medical care.

I’m so grateful to the registering team, doctors, nurses and, x-ray techs who took care of me during my visit to Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital. Although my injury wasn’t severe, they gave me a 5-Star treatment! I’m so amazed that within an hour of my arrival at the ER we were out with my foot injury diagnosed and treated. This is something that would have taken several hours in my beloved country of the US. The entire team here at the hospital is very professional and caring! The hospital is so clean and their system is so organized! Other family members have also been treated here previously and they all have been taken good care of by the amazing team at Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital!
