Hospital Departamental María Inmaculada (HMI) is a public, second-level healthcare institution located in Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia. Established in 1944, it is the region’s first civil hospital and has played a vital role in public health for over 80 years. In 1990, the Ministry of Health classified it as a second-level hospital, and in 1994 it was restructured as a State Social Enterprise (E.S.E.), granting it administrative autonomy and public entity status. HMI offers 24-hour emergency care, hospitalization, surgery, maternity, neonatal care, vaccination, family planning, and a wide range of specialized medical services, serving as a key healthcare provider for the region
