The American Samoa Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is part of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) and provides care to veterans in American Samoa. Located in the U.S. territory in the South Pacific, the CBOC offers telehealth services and is actively involved in providing care to veterans in the region

The American Samoa CBOC, part of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS), offers a range of outpatient services. These include primary care, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, medicine, ear, nose, and throat, dialysis, psychiatry, dental, and eye care. Additionally, the CBOC has recently expanded its mental health services and added specialty care services

The VA American Samoa Community Based-Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) provides healthcare services to approximately 1,000 veterans residing in American Samoa. While the clinic offers a range of services, many patients require off-island referrals to Hawaii or other states for specialized care. Telehealth is seen as a valuable tool for improving access, quality, and cost-effectiveness of care for veterans in American Samoa.
