　Tome City has long been plagued by the problems of medical underpopulation and a declining birthrate and aging population. In particular, the shortage of doctors and the aging of doctors are significantly lower than the national average, and these are the most important issues that need to be resolved. In response to this, the city and prefecture have established a scholarship system for medical students and have worked to train doctors. These medical students became doctors and trained at hospitals around the country, then became specialists and began working at our hospital several years ago. Doctors who have used this system are expected to continue working in the future, which helps to secure doctors. We also accept initial trainees as a core clinical training hospital. These trainees chose to train at our hospital rather than at a large hospital, with the ambition of becoming doctors who are rooted in the community and can provide holistic treatment. We are carefully guiding them so that they will become fine doctors after completing their training and work at our hospital again in the future. I am still not used to being examined, but I hope that the citizens will be kind enough to watch over me.
