Torfeh Educational Hospital began in 1939, paused during WWII, and was rebuilt by Dr. Torfeh in the 1950s. Inaugurated in 1957, its ophthalmology wing followed in 1976. Now affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University, the hospital sits on a 5,000 m² campus with 10,000 m² of building space. It currently operates with 180 beds (120 active), offering service in surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, eye care, and emergency medicine.
