Tripura Medical College (TMC), established in 2006, is the only private medical college in the state of Tripura, India. Located in Hapania, approximately 7 km from Agartala, the college operates in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Government of Tripura. The attached Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital serves as its teaching hospital. The college is affiliated with Tripura University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
