The "University Hospital (Abandoned Construction)" refers to an unfinished hospital complex in Zagreb, Croatia, started in the 1980s but never completed due to financial and political reasons. The project, intended to be a state-of-the-art facility with hospital, hospice, and spa functions, reached only about 50% completion. The onset of Croatia's independence and the subsequent war in the early 1990s halted further development, leaving the structure abandoned.
