My nephew was taken to this hospital after falling down some stairs while on a city break. He suffered fractures to his spine and he had two bleeds on the brain. Apparently, he was given a 10% chance of survival. Now while I acknowledge that the appearance of the hospital isn't the best, the staff who saved my nephew's life are the best and I'll be eternally grateful to them.

Went there today and the staffs there were very helpful. Initially, i went to the emergency department and there was no counter so i was very confused. However, the locals were amazing and explained to me that I will have to wait for nurse to come out of the room to register. The nurse came out after 5 mins and she doesn’t speak english so i was directed to the doctor who speaks and told me where I should be going. In the surgery department, despite the language barrier, the receptionist tried her best by using google translate to communicate. The nurses were so helpful too. The doctor was also very knowledgeable and patient.

I came here after my GP sent me here with a very nasty swelling of the ear, I was admitted urgently and was provided with excellent care. I thank Dr. Aikaterina Sykoudi for her very professional and above all human approach, which showed that even such an unpleasant situation can be handled very sensitively.
