I stayed at the Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit for a couple of months. Every single staff member were dedicated, kind and willing to listen. The group sessions were fine and the accommodation and food were amazing considering it was a free service and hospital. Mark ( social worker) and Aoife (peer worker) went above and beyond and I will always think of them highly. My nurses and doctors and allied health and aha staff were exceptional. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me so much during an exceptionally hard time for me.
2. Impressive facility with wide corridors and doorways. Plenty of disabled carparks. It should be used as an example of wheelchair friendly facility. The clocks that also outline bookings and in use are equally impressive. Love the piano near the cafe.
Two small negatives. Not sure if the staffed reception and then another check-in at the Brindabella centre is a good use of resources. Just need to turn down the heating as it was too hot.
