Opened in September 2016, the unit operates 24 hours a day, providing urgent and emergency medical care to the population of Sapucaia do Sul and surrounding areas. The facility is strategically located next to the SAMU base and is equipped to stabilize patients before referral to hospitals when necessary. UPA Sapucaia do Sul averages about 5,500 attendances per month and initially opened with 12 beds and a multidisciplinary team to ensure fast and effective care for both adult and pediatric emergencies.
