I gave birth to my son a month early and it was a pretty scary experience, that being said, I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful group of people to have experienced all of it with. Me and my baby were so well taken care of, and I was met with so much gentle understanding and empathy from every nurse and doctor along the way, all determined to help me deliver my baby as safely as possible. Doctors Moy and Chiaro made me feel so safe and assured, my labor nurse Jess got me through hours and hours of labor with my sanity, and all of my post-natal nurses were all so sweet, caring and attentive. My baby spent 2 weeks in the NICU after that, and my husband and I essentially lived in his room the entire time. Not only did every doctor and nurse fully support us, they got us another bed and let us fully set up house in his room until he was discharged. Things won’t always go according to your birth plan, and sometimes things may even be scary and uncertain, and being in the right place with the right people makes all the difference in the world. I will always tell anyone I know in the area, if you plan on starting a family, this is 100% where you should plan to deliver.
