I was airlifted over a week ago to Virginia Mason Seattle for a brain bleed. It was excruciating pain. It was very scary. Apparently I could've died but I gotta tell you I've never been so impressed with the hospital or their staff since moving to the Peninsula. From the critical care unit as I was downgraded to other Wings of the hospital the staff never wavered in their care of me. They're politeness, their courtesy their way of making me feel comfortable in light of what could tragically have happened. I will also be telling their administration and supervisors know some of the gems they have in their staff. I couldn't be more thankful for my life and in the end way I was made to feel comfortable and OK and safe and that was really important to this 66-year-old woman who had never been life flighted anywhere. Thank you, Virginia Mason for my being here I couldn't have done this without you!! God bless you all I couldn't be more thankful for the life that you've allowed me to keep🙏🏻🙏🏻

I had a Total Hip Replacement at Virginia Mason's Federal Way surgical suite on May 8, 2025. It was OUTPATIENT surgery! From Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Kieras, to the anesthesiologist, the nurse anesthetist, and especially the RN who took care of me from start to finish, each of the staff members were AMAZING! I had a great experience, and I was able to walk out of the surgery suite with only a walker. And only a week out, I could walk fine without any assistance. Pain is minimal, and everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!! I highly recommend VM's orthopedic group and am so happy I had my procedure done there.
