1. I am still amazed with the level of professionalism and kindnest I was treated with by all the doctors, nurses, and staff during my week-long hospitalization after a serious accident. If it wasn’t for the pain, it felt like staying in a wellness hotel. :) Many thanks everybody!

2. Recently I was injured whilst skiing in Zermatt and was taken to Visp Hospital. I received extremely competent, compassionate and efficient emergency care. Back home in Australia, I am myself an Emergency Doctor, practicing as a specialist in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. I was extremely impressed by how well the Emergency Department worked together. I received immediate pain relief, rapid triage and investigation with XR, did not wait long for a specialty orthopaedic consultation and was transported to the operating theatre all within 3 hours of my accident occurring. I spent well under 4 hours in Emergency and this is a credit to the department. Further to this, the nursing staff which were looking after me both within ED and subsequently on the ward were both proficient and compassionate in their nursing care. Whilst I speak German, it is not perfect, and the staff also took the time to make sure my pain was managed and clarified my understanding of events and the treatment plan, something I very much appreciated. Operative repair of fractured ankle was uncomplicated and I am very satisfied with outcome of my treatment.

3. What a professional and extremely friendly process in the emergency room! Changed my daughter's foot cast, with a warm heart with a choice of color for the cast with warm hearts, what a kind-hearted team you are.
