Zealand University Hospital (ZUH) in Denmark, established in 2016, is the newest university hospital in the country. It serves as a significant center for specialized treatment in Region Zealand, with a strong focus on improving patient care and treatment quality. The hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion project in Køge, which will triple its size by 2024, adding new facilities including patient rooms, emergency beds, examination rooms, intensive care unit beds, and surgical rooms.
