Commissioned as an upgrade from the former Chilenje Urban Health Centre, this facility now supports a catchment area of over 350,000 residents, significantly reducing pressure on higher-level facilities in Lusaka. The hospital upholds a mission of being the first point of hospital-level contact for most community residents, providing essential inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
