Dr. Kasturi Baruah is a second-year DM postgraduate in Medical Oncology at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, where she is actively involved in clinical oncology, patient management, and cancer research. Under the mentorship of Dr. Rajeev L.K., Associate Professor, she is gaining hands-on experience in chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy for various cancers. Her role includes conducting oncology case studies, evaluating treatment outcomes, and contributing to clinical research aimed at improving patient care. She is currently working on a prospective study analyzing the efficacy of fixed, low-dose chemotherapy in specific patient populations, focusing on cost-effective and patient-friendly treatment strategies. Through her research and clinical expertise, Dr. Baruah is committed to advancing evidence-based oncology practices and improving cancer treatment accessibility.
