He received his medical education in India and completed his postgraduate training in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Dr. Yerramasu underwent specialist cardiology training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and further specialized in cardiac imaging through a fellowship in Washington DC, USA. He has been working as a consultant cardiologist in the NHS since August 2016 and has been serving at NHS Forth Valley since 2022.
