Dr Amal Ahmed

Dr. Amal Ahmed has 20 years of experience in the medical field with specializations in geriatrics, women’s health, rheumatology, rehabilitation, and skin cancer. After completing her MBBS in 2002 at University of London, Dr. Ahmed moved to Australia in 2012 and gained significant experience in general medicine and chronic disease management. She has also developed a strong interest in geriatric medicine, focusing on the elderly, and women’s health, including sexual health and family planning. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about skin cancer medicine and is currently working towards completing a Diploma in Advanced Skin Cancer. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed is a key member of the Cannabis Clinic team, where she helps manage patients with chronic conditions using medical cannabis.

Dr. Ahmed has been involved in research on geriatric care, skin cancer prevention, and women’s health. Her research has focused on chronic disease prevention, HIV prevention, and the effectiveness of early interventions in skin cancer and geriatrics. She has also contributed to research on sexual health in women, specifically in relation to family planning and reproductive health.
