Dr. Amanda Penberthy grew up in Inverell and completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle before moving to Tamworth. After finishing her basic training at Tamworth Base Hospital in 2014, Dr. Penberthy worked in various medical settings, including an Inverell practice, before joining Peel Health Care.

With over 7 years of experience as a GP, Dr. Penberthy has developed a special interest in women’s health, sexual health, preventative health, antenatal care, and lifestyle medicine. She is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their health through education and support, focusing on preventative measures that improve overall well-being.
