Experience

Dr. Amir Soha Rezai Shiraz is a General Practitioner and Obstetrician with over 15 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS and began his medical career with an internship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2008. Since then, Dr. Shiraz has worked in a wide variety of medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine, and obstetrics.

Dr. Shiraz joined The Gardens Medical Group and has since developed a focus on pregnancy care and women’s health. He holds both the Basic and Advanced Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG Advanced) from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013.

Dr. Shiraz's practice is deeply enriched by his international experience, having worked globally as a United Nations focal officer with the UN Development Programme (UNDP). He is multilingual, fluent in English, French, German, Italian, Persian, and Spanish, which allows him to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Shiraz is passionate about shared antenatal care and enjoys supporting mothers and their babies throughout pregnancy and beyond.
