Dr Andrea Wendt

Dr. Andrea Wendt is a dedicated General Practitioner with 4 years of experience since completing her MBBS degree at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2019. After graduating, Dr. Wendt worked in Gosford and Wyong hospitals, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of medical specialties.

In 2020, Dr. Wendt moved back to Albury and worked for 12 months at Albury Wodonga Health, further developing her clinical expertise in family medicine and general practice. Her broad medical interests, including paediatrics, geriatrics, and women's health, led her to pursue General Practice training.

She is passionate about rural healthcare, with a particular focus on preventative care and improving access to healthcare in rural communities.

Dr. Wendt has been involved in clinical research during her training, particularly in the fields of rural healthcare and preventative medicine. Her research interests focus on improving access to healthcare in rural settings, chronic disease management, and the impact of early intervention in primary care.
