Dr. Andrew Deaner is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 35 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Leeds in 1987 and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at King George and the London Chest Hospitals in 1996. He specializes in general cardiology, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, palpitations, and pacemaker implants. He is also involved in the training of junior doctors and holds leadership roles in medical education. Professor Deaner is known for his involvement in the resuscitation and subsequent treatment of footballer Fabrice Muamba in March 2011 and is actively involved in promoting CPR training to the general public.
