Dr. Andrew van den Heever completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town in 1991. He went on to complete his postgraduate training in Radiology at Groote Schuur Hospital in 1999, one of South Africa's leading teaching hospitals.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. van den Heever has worked in multiple radiology roles, specializing in MRI imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, prostate MRI, and cardiac CT. He joined PRP Diagnostic Imaging in 2018 and has become an integral member of their team, particularly in the application of advanced imaging techniques. Dr. van den Heever is especially well-versed in prostate cancer diagnosis and interventional procedures involving MRI-guided techniques.
