Dr. Anne Fernando is an experienced General Practitioner with a diverse clinical background. She completed her MBBS and initially worked across several specialties in Sri Lanka, including obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, and emergency medicine. After relocating to Australia, Dr. Fernando worked in emergency medicine at Campbelltown Hospital in Western Sydney, gaining 4 years of hands-on experience in fast-paced emergency care settings.
In January 2025, Dr. Fernando joined The Gardens Medical Group in Thurgoona, where she brings her expertise in women’s health, chronic disease management, adult medicine, and children’s health to her general practice. Dr. Fernando has a strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, tailoring treatment plans for individuals and families. Her comprehensive approach addresses both acute and long-term health needs, ensuring holistic care for her patients.
