Dr Arumadura Fernando

Dr. Arumadura Fernando has over 10 years of experience in general practice since completing his MBBS from the University of Colombo in 2008. Dr. Fernando initially worked in Sri Lanka, where he gained significant experience in family medicine and general healthcare.

In 2015, Dr. Fernando moved to Australia, where he completed the registration process with the Medical Board of Australia. He has since been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) in Dubbo, specializing in preventive healthcare, chronic disease management, and family medicine. His comprehensive experience includes routine health assessments, diagnostic testing, vaccination services, and health promotion for patients of all ages.

Dr. Fernando is known for his holistic approach to medicine, integrating both physical health and mental well-being in his care plans. He strives to provide his patients with evidence-based treatment and preventive measures to enhance their overall quality of life.

Dr. Fernando has been involved in research related to general practice and preventive healthcare, focusing on early detection and intervention strategies for chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
