Dr. Brett Hamilton is a dedicated Medical Oncologist with over 12 years of medical experience since completing his medical degree in 2011. He trained in oncology at Macarthur and Liverpool Cancer Centres, later completing specialised training at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and The Alan Coates Cancer Centre in Dubbo.
He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018 and has since focused on cancer care, chemotherapy, and the development of cancer treatment guidelines. In 2019, he moved to Albury where he is now the Clinical Director of Cancer Services at Albury Wodonga Health. He also continues to serve as a physician in general medicine, providing care beyond oncology.

Dr. Hamilton has been involved in clinical trials, cancer statistics, and treatment guideline development. As the Chair of the Cancer Institute of NSW’s EVIQ Service, he oversees the creation of internationally recognised cancer treatment protocols.
His research interests include chemotherapy safety, rural cancer care, and outcome improvements in oncology patients. He has presented at oncology conferences and contributed to publications on evidence-based cancer therapies.
