Dr Brooke Quigley

Dr. Brooke Quigley is an accomplished and compassionate General Practitioner with over 18 years of experience since graduating with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2006. Her early career focused on critical care, after which she transitioned into General Practice in 2011, earning her FRACGP in 2014. Dr. Quigley is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a Medical Educator for GP Registrars, an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, and an examiner and exam writer for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Her clinical interests span from women’s and children’s health to dermatology, acute medicine, and gender-affirming care. She offers inclusive, non-judgemental, and evidence-based healthcare tailored to people of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations. Dr. Quigley also prescribes PrEP for HIV prevention and provides oestrogen implants as part of her gender-affirming services.

Dr. Brooke Quigley’s research interests lie at the intersection of medical education, primary care innovation, and inclusive healthcare delivery. She has contributed to the academic and structural development of GP training programs through her roles with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), including the design, authorship, and review of examination content such as the Key Feature Problem (KFP) written fellowship exam. This work has involved critical evaluation of clinical reasoning, assessment methodology, and curriculum alignment for general practice training across Australia.

Dr. Quigley is also engaged in curriculum enhancement projects at the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine, where she serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer. Her contributions focus on incorporating best practices in gender-affirming care, LGBTIQA+ health, and patient-centered communication into undergraduate and postgraduate medical training.
