Dr Caitlin Frede

Dr. Caitlin Frede graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2018 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her junior doctor years at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, gaining a wide range of experience in both general medicine and specialties.

In 2021, Dr. Frede moved to Tamworth, where she completed her Emergency Medicine Certificate, further expanding her clinical skills. With over 5 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Frede has developed a strong interest in rural general practice, valuing the diversity of cases she encounters.

Her focus is on preventative medicine, and she enjoys helping patients improve their overall health and prevent chronic conditions before they arise. Dr. Frede appreciates the opportunity to work closely with her patients in a rural setting, where she has developed strong relationships with the community.

Outside of work, Dr. Frede enjoys playing sports and exploring the region, making the most of her life in Tamworth, where she now calls home.

Dr. Frede has not yet been deeply involved in formal research but has a strong interest in preventive health and public health education. She actively participates in community health initiatives aimed at promoting lifestyle changes and chronic disease prevention. Dr. Frede is especially passionate about working with rural communities to raise awareness of preventive measures such as early detection and healthy living.

She continuously integrates evidence-based practices into her clinical care, staying up-to-date with the latest research in preventative medicine and rural healthcare.
