Experience

Dr. Cari Medina is an experienced General Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in the medical field. She completed her MBBS degree in the Philippines in 2003 before moving to Australia in 2007 to undergo further medical training. Dr. Medina initially worked at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital as a Resident Medical Officer for three years, followed by further training in Paediatrics at Children’s Hospital Westmead. She also worked as a Paediatric Registrar at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital for another two years while completing her Diploma in Child Health.

Dr. Medina transitioned to general practice and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. Her areas of special interest include newborn and paediatric health, women’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, and weight management. Dr. Medina's patient-centered approach and extensive training in paediatrics and general practice make her a well-rounded and compassionate healthcare provider.
