Dr Carly Brazel

Dr. Carly Brazel graduated from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2013. After completing her medical degree, Dr. Brazel went on to complete her junior doctor years in Sydney, where she worked in various specialties, including Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then moved back to Tamworth in 2020, where she has been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP).

With over 8 years of experience in general practice, Dr. Brazel has developed a strong interest in women’s health and family planning. She is particularly passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions regarding their health, particularly in the areas of reproductive health and preventative care.

Dr. Brazel is committed to providing comprehensive care to her patients, from young women seeking family planning advice to older women managing menopause and beyond. She is known for her empathetic and supportive approach, creating a safe space for patients to discuss sensitive health issues.

Dr. Brazel has a keen interest in women’s health research, specifically focusing on family planning and contraceptive care.  she actively contributes to patient education and local healthcare initiatives aimed at improving reproductive health services in the Tamworth area. Her research interests include understanding the healthcare needs of women in rural communities and improving access to reproductive health services.

She regularly stays updated with the latest evidence in women’s health and integrates this knowledge into her practice to ensure her patients receive the best care possible.
