Dr Carmen Ast

Dr. Carmen Ast graduated from the University of Sydney in 1988 and has been practicing as a General Practitioner since 1992. She moved to Tamworth in 1994, where she has built a solid reputation for her compassionate care and strong commitment to women’s health. With over 30 years of experience in general practice, Dr. Ast specializes in Women’s Health, Lactation, Medicine of the Older Adult, and Chronic Disease Management.

As a qualified Lactation Consultant, Dr. Ast offers support to new mothers, providing expert advice and guidance in breastfeeding, helping mothers navigate common challenges during the early stages of motherhood.
